Where is it?

Mansion House Cottage #4 is located just outside the village, overlooking Hay Harbor. If you should ever decide to leave the house, take a mid-day stroll down to the museum to see this summer's special exhibit. Relax afterward with a picnic lunch from the Island Cafe on the Village Green. Spend the afternoon on secluded Chocomount Beach, or pack up the rods and fly-fish for striped bass on the rocks at Race Point. But be sure to save enough time to pull out the wine and cheese as you and your guests enjoy the sunset over Hay Harbor from the front porch.

Be sure to pick up your Fishers Island sticker that provides anytime access to beautiful and uncrowded Isabella beach and the rest of the gated East End.

Where is Fishers Island?

Tucked perfectly between New York and Boston at the entrance to Long Island Sound, Fishers Island is considerably easier to access than Block Island, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket, yet it retains a charm that none of them possess.

Ride the Acela or take a two hour drive from either New York or Boston, and hop on the ferry in New London, Connecticut. The relaxing 45 minute ride serves as your segue from the busy city life to the safety, privacy and best aspects of island living.

Mansion House Cottage #4

This Mansion House cottage is part of the Shingle Hill community on the west end near the village and the Hay Harbor Club. It offers summer family living, within biking distance of everything you and your family love to do on Fishers. You’ll enjoy the big lawn for croquet and softball, a large brick terrace for entertaining and dining, covered porch and also a separate tv playroom.

There are six bedrooms which will sleep up to ten comfortably. Two of the bedrooms can easilty be made up as king bedrooms. There are four newly -renovated full baths, including one on the first floor. Large sunny living room, separate dining room and a full kitchen with an office room off of it. Wi-Fi and Direct TV. Invisible Fence hook-up possible for well-behaved dogs. Off-street parking completes this house for summers of fun, yet accommodates for our modern transportation habits.
