Where is Fishers Island?

Tucked perfectly between New York and Boston at the entrance to Long Island Sound, Fishers Island is considerably easier to access than Block Island, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket, yet it retains a charm that none of them possess.

Ride the Acela or take a two hour drive from either New York or Boston, and hop on the ferry in New London, Connecticut. The relaxing 45 minute ride serves as your segue from the busy city life to the safety, privacy and best aspects of island living.

Gruner House

This wonderful summer house has great views of Block Island Sound looking across the third fairway of the Fishers Island Big Club Golf Course. The stone patio on the North side looks across the 15th green and Fishers Island Sound towards Mystic, CT.

The kitchen, dining room and three of the bedrooms are on the first floor. The living room is on the second floor to take advantage of the great views of Block Island and Fishers Island Sounds. There are three bedrooms on the second floor, the master with bath and two additional bedrooms that share a bath.
